As a designer, I've served 30+ clients in the Middle East, Caribbean, and Americas - helping start-ups define what to build, turning ideas into real products, and optimizing flows and experiences to deliver tangible business value. While my experience lies in B2B SaaS, GenAI, data, investment, fintech, and eCommerce, my passion lies in orchestrating equitable change through intentional design and empathy.


My most recent work has focused on the pioneering problem space of AI - uncovering new patterns and behaviours, designing for real customer needs in a rapidly evolving landspace, and imaginging possible futures for how our interactions with AI should work.

I lead the definition, design and development of the product from the ground up, created a visual direction, designed the marketing website, spearheaded feature discovery and definition, and owned all aspects of design for Kyra’s four core products, resulting in over USD $500k AUM.

Optimizing product discovery and reducing checkout churn for a leading sporting goods chain's website

SUMMARY

Sports and Games is the largest sporting goods retailer in Trinidad and Tobago, offering a wide range of equipment, apparel, and accessories across multiple locations. Despite a strong in-store presence, its website sales were stunted, with low online engagement and high checkout abandonment rates, leading to missed revenue opportunities.


I was responsible for overhauling the website’s design, layout, menu, and information architecture to simplify product discovery, improve navigation, and optimize the checkout process to reduce friction for users. The redesign improved the site’s findability score (measured through time spent on the site and reduced bounce rates) by 30%, making it significantly easier for users to navigate and discover products. Additionally, the streamlined checkout process decreased churn by 15%, significantly boosting the company’s online sales.

Designing an eCommerce experience for a bespoke luxury fashion house in Trinidad and Tobago

Shoma the Label is Trinidad and Tobago’s first luxury fashion brand, with over 100% growth year-on-year.

From its launch in 2021, I was enlisted to help translate the brand’s vision to all online touch points as they geared up to go international. Over the years, I’ve been responsible for designing and updating the website annually to reflect new collections, optimizing the site to improve conversion and checkout rates, creating email marketing campaigns, designing print and social marketing elements, ensuring a cohesive presence and aesthetic, and supporting the company's continue success on all visual and digital channels.


I also developed and continue to maintain the website on Wordpress.

Revamping an online directory app to increase retention and drive monetization

SUMMARY

Zipo is an online directory and booking service that connects local businesses with potential customers instantly and on the go.

Over a 6 month timeframe, I worked on rebranding the existing mobile and desktop apps, and overhauled their visual aesthetic, navigation, branding, and core features. Aside from updating all existing features and pages, I also worked on two new features - sponsored ads and a new business details page - that more than doubled user retention and drove revenue by 30+%.
